A prominent Shiba Inu ecosystem executive has called attention to the increasing number of Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) token holders, triggering excitement in the SHIB community.
BONE, the governance token for the Shibaswap decentralized exchange, has continued to make waves in the crypto community. Following its numerous crypto exchange listings in the past weeks and Shibarium’s public relaunch on Monday, investor interest in BONE has elevated.
This is evident in the rising number of wallets holding Bone ShibaSwap. Lucie, a renowned official in the Shiba Ecosystem recently called attention to this remarkable BONE token holders’ stats.
Notably, the Shiba Inu marketing strategist reposted a tweet that revealed a unique milestone achieved by BONE. In particular, the update showed that holders of the governance token exceeded the 91.3K threshold. “91,311 BONE holders,” the user wrote.

Notably, the number of Bone ShibaSwap token holders has increased significantly from the time of that update. At the time of writing, data on Etherscan showed that the total BONE holders count rose to 91,351. As widely speculated, more investors would accumulate BONE as it is the gas token for Shibarium.
A close look at the leading block explorer and analytics platform for Ethereum also revealed that the top 100 holders of BONE possessed 134,617,808.33 (134.6 million) tokens altogether. This translates to 58.53% of the asset’s total supply.
It bears noting that Bone ShibaSwap has a total supply of 230 million tokens. However, the Shiba Inu team intends to mint an additional 20 million BONE tokens shortly to cap the token’s supply at 250 million.
As stated by the Shiba Inu lead developer Shytoshi Kusama, these tokens will be used to reward validators on the Shibarium network. Kusama further added that the Shiba Inu team will renounce the BONE contract after minting this number of tokens.
In light of these positive developments, Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens including SHIB and BONE are slowly regaining momentum in the crypto market.
