The Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) Innovation Summit 2024 is an annual event organized by the Nigeria Association of Computing Students (NACOS) AKSU chapter to provide a platform for students in the computing and technology field to learn, network, and showcase their innovative ideas and projects.
The summit brings together students, professionals, and experts in the technology industry to discuss current trends and advancements in the field, and to inspire and challenge students to think outside the box and develop solutions that can transform their communities and the world at large.
With the theme “Empowering Young Students to Drive Change Through Technology,” the 2024 edition of the conference is scheduled to be held thus:
- Date: Friday 26th – Tuesday 30th April, 2024
- Venue: New Auditorium, Akwa Ibom State University, Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden, Akwa Ibom State.
The conference sub-themes include:
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: Effective Application in Education
- Cybersecurity and Data Privacy: Youth Approach to Tackling Cybercrime
- Blockchain And Cryptocurrency
- Cloud Technology
- Data Science
- SDG & Digital Economy
- Robotics and Internet of Things
Designed to feature keynote speeches, panel discussions, hackathons and exhibitions amongst other activities, the summit will grant participants the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, network with peers, and showcase their innovative projects and ideas.

Nigeria Association of Computing Students (NACOS), Akwa Ibom State University is the outstanding state branch of the National Association of Computing Students the umbrella body for all Information Technology and Computing Students studying Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, and all IT-related courses in all tertiary Institution in Nigeria.
