Tangem Wallet Integrates Shibarium Network To Promote Cold Storage of Shiba Inu Tokens

Tangem, a high-tech company in the blockchain sector using a unique combination of smartcard-based hardware wallet and mobile applications has added support for the Shibarium network, intensifying the bullish sentiments on Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens.

Announced on Wednesday, the integration of the Shibarium network into Tangem Wallet denotes that SHIB, LEASH and BONE can now be stored in the card-shaped self-custodial cold wallet, touted to be as “slim as a bank card and secure as a bank vault.” 

Given hardware wallets generally offer more security than hot wallets, the strategic integration provides an avenue for Shiba Inu community members to minimize the risk of asset theft. The Shiba Tangem wallet has an EAL6+ security standard with a 25-year warranty. 

According to the Swiss-based company website, the original price for the limited edition Shiba Tangem wallet is $77.7. However, Tangem has slashed 20% off the cost, allowing users to buy at $62. At the time of writing, only 971 wallets are in stock.

Shiba Inu Ecosystem Tokens Regains Momentum 

Reactions from the teeming Shiba Inu community show that the positive development has intensified bullish sentiments for SHIB, BONE and LEASH. It bears mentioning that memecoins, including BONK, PEPE and all three Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens, have been dominating the ongoing crypto market rally. 

Trading for $0.0000309 at the time of writing, SHIB has jumped nearly 300% in the past 30 days after it recently broke a longstanding resistance level and reached a record high for Shiba Inu addresses. Accordingly, the canine-themed has surpassed several projects to become the 11th-largest cryptocurrency by market cap at press time. 

Similarly, Bone ShibaSwap has posted price gains of over 82% in the past month amid an escalating number of BONE token holders. Coingecko data also shows Doge Killer (LEASH) has rallied over 160% in the past 30 days. As their adoption increases coupled with the bull market scenario, Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens are expected to hit higher highs in the long term.
